(see October 2007 issue of “Watercolor Magic” to learn more about Tom)
Tom’s passion for watercolor
and his love for teachingcombine to create a dynamic workshop experience
that is enjoyable,informative and inspirational.
This watercolor workshop will focus on the importance of concept and bringing
an original idea to fulfillment with paint.
Tom will discuss such topics as value relationships, planning the painting, design
principles, along with color and its usage.
A variety of daily demonstrations will allow participants to see how Tom approaches
a work from concept to finish.
The demonstrations will include a range of subjects from landscapes to figurative.
Students will work from their own references as they are presented each day with new
challenges intended to promote thought and encourage exploration.
Ample opportunity is provided for everyone to paint with individual direction/guidance
a priority.
Group critiques will allow everyone an opportunity to learn from the works of
others.
