From2023 Healing Arts Show
The Advent Health Healing Arts Show, will feature work by members of the Heritage Fine Arts Guild and will be held at Littleton Hospital. This call for entry is open to all current Heritage members. This is a great opportunity to have your work seen by members of the health community, staff, and community. The show will run from October through December 2024.
The subject should be in keeping with the “healing arts” theme with images that are uplifting, soothing, nature inspired. Abstracts are not generally accepted unless they have a natural reference that can be easily recognized.
The Director of the Healing Arts Program, for Littleton Hospital, Mary Williams, will jury this show. Mary is a very dynamic Denver-based artist who is known for her public art installations and abstract paintings.

Dates:
- Now - September 8, 2024: Entries accepted through the HFAG website
- September 13, 2024: Notification of accepted/unaccepted entries sent out
- September 27, 2024: Delivery of paintings and installation
- October - December 2024: Artwork on Display at Littleton Hospital
- TBD: Show take-down; pick up artwork
Submission Requirements and Details:
- Framed dimensions must be no larger than 40” x 40”. Weight limit not to exceed 25 lbs. Dark brown or black frames required.
- All pieces need to be wired. Wrapped canvas's need to have painted edges.
- Up to 3 entries allowed.
- Jurying will take place online. Please submit a digital image of each painting to https://www.heritage-guild.com/. Digital images must be cropped to show only the painting (no mat, frame or other background in the picture). Digital images must be no larger than 1.5 Mb.
- Label your image file with your name, the title of the piece, medium, dimensions, and price or NFS. (ex: jojosmith-morning_light-oil-40x40-750)
- Digital images must be received by 10 pm on Saturday, September 9, 2024.
- All pieces need to be wired with 'D' rings. Wrapped canvas's need to have painted edges.
- Paintings will be delivered to Littleton Hospital during the first week of October. Pick up of
unsold paintings are will be during the last week of December/first week of January 2025. - Sales are handled by the artist and a 20% donation to the hospital foundation is required if a painting is sold.
- No painting will be removed from hospital walls prior to the end of the show. If a painting sells and the purchaser would like it prior to the end of the exhibit, we are open to making accommodations if the artist can hang another painting of a similar size.
