During the activity of painting and creating our art, we are engaged in bringing our perspectives and zest for life to the paper or canvas and communicating that joy to the viewer. We are looking for your best work showing the places, people, and images that reflect your joy.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS and DETAILS for the Best of Heritage/Bemis Library Members Show:
- Members entry fee is $20.00 for up to three entries. Ribbons and prizes to be awarded.
- Size limits - Maximum 30 inches in any dimension. Two dimensional work only, media to include watercolor, acrylic, pastel, pen and ink, pencils, collage and monoprint/gel prints. Weight limitations - no more than 20 lbs. We are not able to accept photography or sculpture.
- All 2D art must be clean, and framed or have finished edges. All pieces must be hung using a D-ring and wire securing system. No sawtooth hangers or metal screw eyes are acceptable.
- Please be sure that your wires are taut and will not show when hung on a wall.
- Paintings must be delivered to Bemis Public Library 6014 S. Datura Street, Littleton Colorado, 80120, between 9-11 am on Wednesday, March 1, 2023. Please attach information with your name, title, and price or NFS to the back of your work.
- Please submit a digital image of each painting along with your Entry Form below. .
- Digital images must be cropped to show only the painting (no mat, frame or other background in the picture) and must be no larger than 1.5 Mb and no smaller that 1.0 Mb.
- Label your image file with your name, the title of the piece, medium, size (framed) and price or NFS.(example: ssmith_Challenge_collage_30x30_475).
All paintings will remain at Bemis Library for the duration of the show. All sales are negotiated between the Artist and the Seller. Any questions or assistance please contact:
