TONI CAPPUCCIO
Hello, my name is Toni Cappuccio, and I am pleased to introduce myself as a watercolor artist who also works in other mediums, including urban sketching, pen & ink, and pastels. I am also a member of the Littleton Paint Box Guild, and the Heritage Fine Arts Guild.
I was born in Lincoln Park, Michigan, a downriver suburb of Detroit, and moved to the Denver area from Cleveland, Ohio in 2010. I am the mother of twins who are now adults, with families of their own families here in Denver, and in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan.
I am also a retired Douglas County Early Childhood Instructor. One of the biggest takeaways I had from teaching preschoolers, was the impact painting had a calming effect on children, calming and shifting from left brain to right brain, giving a child time to calm and reset. I also learned painting had the same effect on myself.
