Linda's Bio:
Linda is a lifelong learner and teacher with a passion for animals. After retiring from teaching special needs students for 32 years, she has shifted to teaching pastel tips and tricks to artists for the past 16 years with an emphasis on pets.
Linda’s pastel artworks have been described as being so realistic that it’s hard to tell the photo from the picture; her pet portraits are so lifelike that they can “walk off the canvas”. She strives to bring emotion and joy to the viewer as well as to bring out the true spirit of her subjects.
Known for her commission works nationwide, she also paints the retired K-9’s for the Loveland Police Department. She has won numerous awards in shows, including ‘Best Woman Artist’ through the American Association of University Women. Her works can be viewed at:

Christa's Bio:
Christa has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree majoring in Interior Design from the University of Kansas. Her college studies were focused on art and design (while taking interior design, architectural and industrial design and graphic design courses with an emphasis on art). Therefor, it makes sense that her career consists of over 35 years working in a variety of art and design fields. Early on, her more technical experience in interior design, space planning and architectural rendering took place at nationally known Chicago and Kansas City firms. This was short-lived as she was moving around the country as a military spouse. She then enjoyed working as a graphic artist for several years and eventually was working as an art teacher at a private elementary school. Currently she teaches adult painting and drawing classes along with being a professional artist.
Through teaching and working on her own artwork, Christa has experience using many different mediums from pastels to watercolors, acrylics and encaustics, pen ink and graphite pencil, along with some collage mixed media.
It wasn’t until 2013 that she met with an artist mentor to discover and focus on her love for acrylics. She proceeded to paint 100 paintings that year and more the next. As Christa established herself as a professional artist in 2015, painting wild botanicals spoke to her and told her story…who she is, where she came from, and what she loves.
Christa’s work can be found in private and public spaces, primarily selling to healthcare clinics and hospitals. She has been represented by a variety of galleries in South Denver since 2015 and currently featured and is represented by RA-Modern Gallery in Crested Butte, Colorado.
