dAlanna Austin is a printmaker and multimedia artist from Boulder, Colorado, although she recently moved to Texas. Her work has been exhibited across the country and she recently was featured in a solo exhibition at the Denver Art Museum and in August of 2022 in Melbourne, Australia.
In this workshop, we used the newly developed techniques of gelli plate printmaking to create form, color, line and began to discuss the technical approaches of making a non editioned images. These techniques are important as they do not require a press, nor do they require much set up, and can be done from home and continued in all spaces as we will be using non-toxic inks.
