Behnaz Ahmadian was born in Iran and raised in the United States. She is currently living and working in Colorado. She is an artist and an art instructor. She likes to work with many different mediums but the main medium she works in is acrylic. Behnaz is very fascinated with pattern and color and incorporates them in her paintings.

Embark on a captivating journey into the art of paper collage with a special focus on painted papers. This workshop, "Petals and Paper” invites participants to explore the synergy between paint, paper and mixed media as they create a stunning bouquet of flowers.

​This workshop is designed for artists of all levels, offering a unique opportunity to combine the expressive qualities of both painting and paper collage.

Supply List:

• 1 Canvas (10x10, 9x12, 12x12, which ever you prefer but no larger than 12x12)
• Matt Medium
• Magazines
• Collage Paper (specialty paper or magazine paper)
• Paint (Red, Blue, Yellow, Green, Orange, Purple, Black and White, and any other    color of your choice)
• Different size brushes
• Hair Dryer
• Spray bottle
• Stencils
• Sponge for stenciling  
• Graphite transfer paper (none smearing)
• Pencil
• Scissors
• Markers
• Oil Pastels
• Paper plate (for paint)
• 1 Black water color pencil
