Steve will start by introducing a painting and showing how he breaks down the shapes and organizes the painting. After that, he will demonstrate how he moves through the process to create a loose, moving, and evocative painting as you paint along with him. Questions, jokes, and joyful spirits are welcomed! The video did not capture the first several minutes of the demo when Janet introduced herself and talked about her art background. She enjoys painting with a palette knife because it allows her the freedom to be expressive and not worry about being overly detailed. This has become especially important to her given the frustrations of being more isolated due to the pandemic.
