The 2022 "This is Colorado" State-Wide Art Show is hosted by the Heritage Fine Arts Guild
and displayed at the Colorado Gallery of the Arts at Arapahoe Community College .

Important Show Dates:
- August 15-Sept 9, 2022: Entries accepted via email.
- September 14, 2022: Acceptance letters emailed
- September 26, 2022 Drop off accepted art
- September 27, 2022 Gallery opens
- September 29, 2022 Opening Reception 5pm-7pm
- October 28, 2022 Last Day of Exhibit
- October 31, 2022 Pick up Art
Details:
- Images of submitted artwork should be in jpg format -- 15Mb max (larger sizes will not upload)
- Maximum of 3 artworks per artist
- Document your art before you frame it -- no mat, glass or frame should be in the photo
- Crop your image before you download it
- Make sure the contrast and color look correct
- Make sure the image is display ready
- Art must be appropriate for all ages viewing the site. The HFAG, college and gallery may remove images at their discretion.
- Accepted and Unaccepted emails will go out Oct 27, or you may log in to see the results. Keep track of your username and password. You will receive an email for each title you enter. Make sure your email is correct.

Artwork Requirements:
- Art media accepted – 2D original drawing, painting and mixed media.
- Artwork may be of any subject matter.
- Artwork may be traditional or abstract.
TITLING YOUR ART:
You must title your art. If you title your art "Untitled" to help identify each piece separately title them as, "Untitled 1", "Untitled 2", and "Untitled 3". You will receive an email for each title you enter. Make sure your email is correct.
SUBMISSION ENTRY FEE:
The entry fee is due by Oct 18-22, 2021. If your payment is not received by Oct 18-22 your work will not be juried.
- Submissions for Heritage Fine Arts Guild members are $30 for 1-3 pieces
- Submissions for non-members are $45 for 1-3 pieces
- Check or money order should be made payable to the Heritage Fine Arts Guild
- Online payment will open on October 18, 2021.

RIGHT TO USE OF WORK:
Work may be used by HFAG, ACC, and Gallery to market the show. The artist will grant the above list royalty-free, nonexclusive, worldwide and perpetual license to use the work (in its entirety or sampled) for the promotion and/or advancement of the interests of the HFAG and college in print, web, or other formats.
SALES:
- Work may be for sale or not for sale.
- The Gallery will retain 35% of all sales.
In-Person Exhibition:
- Located at the Colorado Gallery of the Arts at Arapahoe Community College.
- November 30 - December 21, 2021.
- Gallery Hours, Monday-Wed 9-3pm, Thursday 9-7pm and Saturday, Dec 4 , 12-3pm.
- Art drop off and hang November 29, 2021 9am
- Reception at the gallery December 2, 2021 5-7pm
- Art pickup Dec. 22, 2021, 9am.
Virtual Exhibition:
The site will be open November 30, 2021 – January 31, 2022, to the public at our website Colorado Gallery of the Arts · Heritage website (www.heritage-guild.com) Virtual Exhibit coincides with ACC virtual exhibit.
