"Charmisa and Sangre de Cristo Mountains" 16x20 Oil - $1200

SUSAN SLOMSKI

My Website

Picture
Susan is a fine art landscape oil painter with a passion for color, light, and place. Susan's work is inspired by her love for the western landscape. Her paintings are rooted in her study of color theory and reflect the wild and beautiful landscapes of the west. She resides in Colorado.

Her love for remote and beautiful places is illustrated in her large and small scale original oil paintings where her dedication to both painting and the beauty of the land come together. Each piece reflects places Susan has been to again and again, exploring, hiking and experiencing the landscape firsthand. Her paintings are an expression of her experience of these landscapes and works from studies or small works she has completed on site.  She continues to exhibit nationally and locally. In March  and April of 2026 she is the featured artist at The Open Door Studios and Gallery in Cheyenne, WY.
