Do you like messing around in your studio? I mean with art supplies. Let me show you how you can do the “Messaround”. It's kind of like doodling, but with collage materials instead of a pen or pencil. I will supply many mixed media materials, and you will make some in the class. Learn the secret to perfect composition in your messaround. You are welcome to search your stash of mixed media materials and bring some of your own doodads and stuff. You will make one fabulous 4" x 14" abstract in this class and have fun doin’ it!

Materials provided by instructor:
• Golden gloss medium, gel
medium and fluid acrylics
to share
• Wood substrates, red
rosin paper
• Plaster of Paris, air dry clay
• Burlap
• Tyvek, and more.

Supply list for students to bring:
• Your favorite acrylic paints
   (or use shared Golden
Fluid Acrylics)
• Short Handled Nylon
Brushes (3/4 inch flat,
#6 round) suitable for
w/c and acrylic
• Spray water bottle, paper
towels, palette (I use
   disposable styrofoam
   plates)
• Small palette knife, scissors
• Large water container
